Introduction

When you play a Shadow Chaser killing should not be your main priority, leave that to Shura's & Genetics. Support, debuff and annoy your opponent, pass on status effects, that should be your goal.

Flee is your best friend.
Thief Class has the highest flee in game. Flee is only good when you are dealing with one or two opponent, and totally useless against a mobs and magic attacks. Basically, there is a cap in Ragnarok, you can only dodge 95% of the time, meaning there is this 5% chance that the attack would actually hit you.

DEX - Dex is the main stats of all Rouge Class, dex can benefit in a number of ways:

- success of Stripping
- success FACE PAINT SKILLS
- casting

Note: It will always be harder to strip someone who has a higher Dex than you.

VIT - Vit is vital in WOE, Since Flee is totally useless in woe,
it can benefit in a number of ways:

- More HP for tanking
- 100 Total VIT will give you immune to stun

Shadow Chaser Skills Analysis

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Auto Shadow Spell

- Does not work with bows / long ranged attacks
- Only works with player melee attacking, this excludes reflect attack.
- Magic attacks only

- Body paint is NOT A BUFF, it works like Ruwach, it instantly reveals hidden / cloaked enemies.
- has a debuff that will reduces enemies attack speed.

Masquerade Spells:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Masquerade - Ignorance
- Debuff enemies makes them unable to cast any spell for a period of time
- Cannot "renew" the effect. (Skill will fail) if the enemy is still under the effect of this skill.
- works on boss monsters

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Masquerade - Groomy / Gloomy
- Reduces target's ASPD, HIT and movement speed
- Forces target to depart with their animal (Peco, Dragon, Gryphon, Warg, Falcon), pets, homunculus.
- Can't use the same masquerade on a target twice to "renew" the effect
- works on boss monsters

- Reduces target's Max HP and strips their shield and weapon at the same time (Dex law still apply)
- Cannot be stripped if the target has FCP
- Can't use the same masquerade on a target twice to "renew" the effect.

- Reduce target's ATK and causes target to lose all spirit spheres
- Only causes the target to lose spheres. Can be re-summoned during duration of status.

- Reduces target's FLEE and slows their cast time.

kaya sarap gamitin ng shadow chaser pang asar,pati mga kaguild and kaparty walang lusot...mas fav. ko pa rin yung manhole,chaos panic& bloody lust,yung maelstorm maganda sana kaso di na ako nakakapaglagay kung tambak na yung kalaban sa harap ko hahahaha...

sarap sana kung atleast 3 SC sa woe and 2 Gentcs...yung 3 na SC maglalagay ng manholes sa isang entrnce (1 SC= 3 manholes...)so magkakaroon ng 9manholes,yung isang gentc prioritize nya yung DF and yung isa hellsplant and Acid demo...pwede na yun pang frontline habang bc sa loob yung breakes and ibang guildmates sa 2nd line and mga nagbabasag ng emp...hahahaha

I can't remember where I read it. sa iRO Wiki yata.

Still, it can be useful. Para may taga-bura pa tayo ng LP.

Its like this po, the new 3rd JOB AOE skills cannot be blocked by Land Pro, right?
The Shadow Chaser has his skill that can block 3rd job AOE skills but the problem is that, the area of protection is quite small, 3x3 if im not mistaken, and it can only absorb the damage once. so the shadow chaser has to re-cast and re-cast it. its really quite a hassle.

7 mealstorm kaya icast ng sunod-sunod ng SC...nawawala na kc yung unang maelstorm kaya till 7 lang na active sabay-sabay na nasa field...ginagamit ko lang yun minsan pag may demonic fire sa harap ko or firewall... Smile
